The Hardware Asset Inventory report acts both as a drill through report for all elements of the Hardware Asset Management Dashboard and as a stand-alone report. It includes all owned and leased assets, unless you drill through from the Hardware Asset Management Dashboard > Age of Asset (Owned) section, when only the assets that are owned appear.
Use the parameters section at the top of the report to filter by the following fields on the hardware asset form:
Supplier
Manufacturer
Life Cycle Status: The status disposed and the status returned are not automatically included when you run the report with All life cycle statuses selected. However, they can be individually selected and shown in the report.
Age of the Asset: The asset’s age, which is based on its Received date.
Type: The type of asset, such as computer, monitor, or printer.
Asset Tag: Search by the asset tag. The Asset Tag field is not case sensitive.
The Hardware Asset Inventory report has the following information:
Asset Serial Number: The serial number of the asset.
Asset Tag: An internal identifier for the asset.
Life Cycle Status: The status of the asset.
Location: The location of the asset.
Cost Center: The cost center for the asset.
Organization: The organization responsible for the asset.
Manufacturer: The company who manufactured the asset.
Supplier: The company who supplied the asset.
Received Date: The date that the asset was received.
